Character: Beethoven
New spin on: Schroeder (Pianist, the outsider, the nerd, the freak. )
On Character: To most open minded adults Beethoven would come across as a bright and gifted young man with an astounding emotional maturity. Unfortunately Beethoven goes to high school. He, like most of us in our youths is incredibly frustrated. Though he has found a profession that he is passionate about and gifted in, he has no idea who he wants to be as a human being. To make matters worse he has no one whom he can trust in or confide in, no one who will want to make him feel better when he's at his worst, no one to cheer him on when he is at his best. He is a rock, he is an island, he is a leper.
On your own high school life: My high school experience was a real roller coaster ride! Not in that it was fun so much, as that it was incredibly frightening. Ups and downs and quite a lot of time spinning upside down and the whole time I was afraid i would just fall out, so if you see any pictures taken of me during this time you'll notice that I'm screaming with my hands raised to the heavens in defeat. You'll also notice how skinny I was.
